– The new voting portal for Greeks living abroad was launched by the Greek Ministry of the Interior. Greek citizens who have lived in Greece for two years within the past 35 years and have filed income tax returns for this or the previous year, can exercise their right to vote in Greek elections. – As of November 8, fully vaccinated citizens of 33 countries, including Greece and all other EU member-states, can travel to the US.
– If you plan to visit Greece, please note that according to a recent Decision by the Greek Government (Official Gazette no 5138), travelers to Greece who are vaccinated in the US will be allowed to enter indoor public spaces by showing a hard copy of their CDC certificate along with their ID or passport.
– As part of their military duties, those registered in the Males Registry of Greece, born in 2004 and residing out of Greece, are invited to submit the appropriate Registration Form either through the website www.stratologia.gr using their taxisnet passcodes, or to a Greek Consular Authority.
