The extraordinary conference of the World Confederation of Pan-Macedonian Unions in Thessaloniki was completed with obstacles and unforeseen circumstances.
An impression was made by the vehemence with which the delegates turned both against SYRIZA for the "treacherous" as they described the Prespa agreement, and towards the "New Democracy" because, as they said, "it not only betrayed the hopes of the Greeks for a change in the negative development but also for the support to the government of Skopje and the closer relations it developed at the political and diplomatic level in favor of the neighbors and at the expense of national interests".
Some MPs have called for former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the former minister to be brought to trial for high treason Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias.
In fact, there was also an intense verbal confrontation with the Deputy Minister of the Interior (Macedonia – Thrace), Stavros Kalafati, who raised the tone of his voice and said that just as he does not question anyone's patriotism, he also does not allow anyone to question his own patriotism.
"We are all Greeks and we are all patriots," he said.
The conference was attended by club representatives and citizens, both from Greece and expatriates abroad. At the same time there was an online connection with representatives of Pan-Macedonian Unions Abroad.

The extraordinary conference was held in the context of "Four years (2018-2022) from the signing of the Prespa Agreement".
References were made and the non-compliance with the agreed-upon terms of the agreement was also denounced.
According to information, during the interfacing of the conference with expatriates abroad, the broadcast was "hacked" by strangers with interference of "inappropriate" content!
The president of the World Confederation of Pan-Macedonian Unions, Mr. Kosmidis, during his speech, invited political bodies and organizations to discuss those who accept the permanent positions of the Pan-Macedonian Unions.
