The special platform on the e-EFKA website for retroactive heirs opened today.
Through this platform (efka.gov.gr) the heirs of 14.600 retirees with more from 30 years of insurance - who died before receiving the retroactive entitlements they are entitled to - will be able to receive the amounts due to them. of Law 4670/2020, of retirees with more than 30 years of insurance who died, after October 1, 2019.
It is reminded that the retroactive payments for the new retirees (after May 2016), were paid in July and the old ones (before May 2016), on September 29.
Retroactive heirs: How to apply
To access the online service from the e-EFKA website (www.efka.gov.gr) the heirs follow the route:
Refund of amounts to heirs-> Return of retroactive amounts to heirs resulting from the recalculation, pursuant to law 4670/2020.
Alternatively, access to the above service is also provided through the single digital portal of the state (gov.gr) in the thematic section: Family-> Loss (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/oikogeneia/apoleia).
According to the announcement, the procedure for submitting the application by the heirs does not differ from the one observed for the previous payment of the retroactive amounts of 11 months, in application of the decisions of the Council of State.
Each beneficiary heir chooses the type of application he will submit depending on whether a will has been published or not.
The required documents electronically
It is pointed out that the beneficiaries / heirs of the retrospectives now have the opportunity to obtain electronically, without any delay, these supporting documents, requested, based on the law of inheritance by the single digital portal of the public www.gov.gr, through the interoperability between bodies abolishing bureaucratic procedures.
In particular, heirs are required to attach the following certificates:
Certificate of non-renunciation of inheritance.
Certificate of non-publication of will.
Certificate of close relatives.
