Results of tests for measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Intensive inspections are carried out throughout the country by its Services Of the Greek Police for the implementation of measures to prevent and limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Yesterday, Sunday 5 December took place throughout the territory 76.556 controls, of which 38.802 at the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".
They were totally confirmed 184 infringements and took place 1 arrest, as follows:
- 86 violations for not using a mask, etc. related infringements and 81 fines of EUR 300 and 5 of EUR 150 were imposed, as follows:
- 23 in Thessaloniki,
- 10 in Central Macedonia,
- 9 in the Peloponnese,
- 9 in Thessaly,
- 8 in the North Aegean,
- 7 in Epirus,
- 7 in Western Greece,
- 6 in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace,
- 3 in Western Macedonia,
- 2 in Crete and
- 2 in the Ionian Islands.
Since the entry into force of the new measures (November 7, 2020), they have been fully certified 77.127 similar infringements and were imposed 73.780 administrative fines of EUR 300 and 3.347 of 150 euros.
- 97 infringements and 1 arrest for rules of operation of shops, private companies, etc. violations of the relevant legislation (operating ban, non-use of mask, percentage of square meter per person, etc.).
In the above cases, the following sanctions were imposed for violation of suspension of operation, etc. related infringements of the relevant provisions, namely:
In Thessaly,
- 9 violations of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask, by employees, shop owner and customer,
- 1 violation of 300 euros, for non-possession of the necessary certificates by a citizen inside the Holy Temple.
In Central Macedonia, 8 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by employees and customers of stores. In addition, 5 violations were confirmed, for non-use of a mask by vehicle passengers.
In Thessaloniki,
- arrest of a person for violation of article 285 of the Penal Code,
- 10 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by customers and store employees,
- 1 violation in a store, for not posting a sign of the maximum number of people allowed.
In the West Greece,
- 1 violation in a store, for not posting a sign of the maximum number of people allowed
- 5 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by shop owners and customers.
In Crete, 3 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by an employee and customers of stores.
In Western Macedonia, 3 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by employees and a customer of stores.
In Central Greece, 20 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by shop owners and customers.
In Eastern Macedonia and Thrace,
- 5000 euros fine to a store owner, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension, for customer service, without the necessary certificates and 3 violations to customers,
- 10 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by the owner, employees and customers of stores.
In Attica, 7 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by store employees.
In the Peloponnese, 3 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by an employee and customers of stores.
In Epirus,
- 1 violation in a store, for not posting a sign of the maximum number of people allowed,
- 5 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by shop customers.
In the Ionian Islands, 5 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by shop customers.
In the North Aegean, 1 violation of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by a store employee.
Since the implementation of the new measures (November 7, 2020) they have been fully certified 25.399 similar offenses and have been arrested 2.738 People.
- Finally, he was convinced 1 violation for not completing the electronic form PLF (PassengerLocatorForm) by a traveler. Since the implementation of the new measures (November 7, 2020) they have been fully certified 486 similar infringements.
The inspections continue with undiminished intensity for the protection of public health.
