A few hours ago today, during the repair works of a paved road in the center of the historic city of Odessa, ancient Greek fortifications (according to an initial estimate of 2500 years old, for the protection of the then Greek colony (part of Pontic Olbia) from the Scythians, which colony, among other things, had under its supervision and custody what is called "Fidonisi" in modern times, on which, as Homer mentions, the tomb of Achilles is located after his death in Troy. Unfortunately, the island has been a military installation in recent years and access is prohibited due to ongoing military operations.
The photographs are provided as a world first and exclusive, to inform Greeks everywhere with a message at a time when some “anthropomorphic Greek-speaking people” are fighting for their petty “wills”, some Greeks helpless and defying physical death, proclaim the works of their late ancestors. The lesson is one and clear: “Hellenism is destined to live and will live despite the suffering to which it is subjected! Let us not be shy in supporting that anyone who fights for Hellenism deserves to be Greek. There will certainly be more to come.
