Significant incidents occupied Florida police authorities last week, with authorities intensifying checks and arrests across the state.

In coordinated operations by the police and drug enforcement, apartments and warehouses where drugs were being trafficked were discovered. Cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl were seized, while people of various ages were arrested. Authorities emphasize the increased risk from the trafficking of synthetic substances.

Several reports have involved telephone and online scams, mainly targeting the elderly. Police are warning citizens not to give out personal or banking information and to report suspicious calls or messages immediately.

Intensive traffic checks were carried out on central roads, with arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Authorities say checks will continue in view of the festive season.

During the week, West Palm Beach police made arrests related to domestic violence, illegal gun possession and drug offenses. At the same time, investigations into isolated incidents of violence continue, while there is an increased police presence in downtown and high-crime areas.
Jupiter
In Jupiter, police focused on traffic and DUI enforcement, with several calls and arrests. There were also incidents of petty theft and vehicle break-ins, with authorities urging residents to take preventive safety measures.
Wellington
Wellington authorities have been dealing with cases involving dangerous driving, speeding and online threats. In collaboration with other agencies in the county, arrests have been made of people accused of violating lockdown measures and online harassment.
Boca Raton
In Boca Raton, police investigated cases of financial fraud, mainly targeting the elderly, as well as incidents of theft and impersonation. At the same time, checks on businesses and residential areas continued as part of crime prevention.
