God did everything in wisdom! And because at some point He realized that He had given the Greeks intelligence as well as the best plot of land on Earth, His “economic” Power worked, giving them some other characteristics, so that the balance of things would be maintained. Thus, while the Greek had said the “Great Measure”, God made him consider in practice the “middle way” a phrase unknown in the vocabulary of the Greek psyche! And of course He made him have invented everything, but after a while, not apply any of all that he had invented!
Thus, his intelligence ranges from immeasurable height (genius) in the bottomless depths (nonsense)! Then he gave him the characteristic of “discord”. In the exploitation of this characteristic, foolishness would play its role. However, so that Greece, which was necessary for the progress of the world, would not be lost, from time to time God allowed the Greeks to unite. And if this did not happen completely and it would be very difficult to achieve, even when there was a homogenized national mass, he sent them a leader. He would overcome their difficulties, regulate things, balance them for a while! Because, God knew that after this leader, the relative of foolishness, ingratitude, would prevail, so confusion, turmoil, and chaos would return. So that time would turn again, until next time.
You will tell me why God works like this.! But very simply, because if his “divine economy” did not intervene, the Greek would have dominated the world in everything. In culture, in wisdom, in science, in language! And since only the intelligence of the Greek would dominate the global firmament, what reason would the other peoples have for existence? So we find that the second characteristic, namely “stupidity” operates in the Greek everywhere and especially in the voters, whom we see today being led astray, voting for sycophants, being deceived thinking that they will become rich, playing on the stock market, losing their fortunes, “learning” to deceive, forging degrees for a position, in which some never stepped foot and were paid, becoming addicted to corruption (“files”, “stamps”, etc.), not being interested in anything national. Personal interest always came first, the “Ludovicism” syndrome (May the earth live as long as I live, then may it be destroyed), the “conscious over-indebtedness” of the country for the benefit of “other cattle”, “green-red-blue-rose voters-applause”, the selling out of national issues, labor achievements, social priorities, etc.! The “intelligences”, the “brains” are leaving the Greece that educated them, to promote the science and culture of other states. And here remains the “scum” and the illegal immigrants!
In the past, we saw that first-generation Greeks came to Greece and fought in all the difficult moments of the Nation (Balkan wars, Asia Minor, the epic of the '40s, etc.)! Now I don't know, if something similar were to happen, what would happen. The ship of "national consciousness" has been lost in the ocean of globalization!
The reference to God, of course, that I made above, has only a schematic reason for understanding this article. We know that He “made all things in wisdom”, just as we know that “history repeats itself”, that powers rise and fall as well as that the “unstable factor” is the one who always shapes things! It's made of "the hand of God" in the evolution of his creations. He strikes at arrogance, conceit, wherever it manifests itself! From Kapaneas in the tragedies of Sophocles and Euripides, to Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, etc.!
We all know what Greece proclaims as our national march. "Greece never dies. No fear overshadows it,,, It only rests for a short time and then again pulls towards Glory.""! Indeed, dear friends. Greece has known various conquerors, military, religious, economic! If anyone thinks how many have passed through this corner plot, they will go crazy! Everyone came and passed. The Romans came, the Goths, the Avars, the Gauls, the Franks. The Arabs and the Turks came too. But allies also came, “enemies dressed as friends"according to Elytis. “Traitors” and “bankruptcies” and “memorandums” also came. The Germans were the last conquerors and they still remain to this day, simply changing the “mask of Hitler”, so that the identity of their ideas and especially their application to the same people would not be visible, with the same hatred, the same cynicism and the same indifference to the Greek Man, who taught them what civilization means! And yet Greece still exists!
For all these cases, tradition states that there is a phrase, which is said to be a Delphic oracle. When at the beginning of the 2nd century BC the experienced Arcadian general Philopoemen the Great, discerned the disposition of the Roman consul Titus Quintus Flamininus to get involved in Greek affairs, he understood that the Greeks were facing enormous adventures. Philopoemen then decided to consult the Oracle of Delphi about the future of Greece and the Pythia is said to have given him the following oracle: "A bag swaying, never sinking""! This oracle simultaneously confirms the absolute definition of the concept of “Greece” for so many centuries, namely that Greece never dies and is always reborn from the ashes! The priestess of Delphi, with this oracle, likened Greece to an inflated bag in the stormy sea, which is indeed tossed about by the large waves but, despite all this, will never sink!
Galen had made it clear about those who beat the stupid part of the Greeks, because they could not reach the intelligent: "And those who are born barbarians, but envy the pursuits of the Greeks" (De sanitation tuenda, books VI, 6, 51, 10-11)! Several centuries later comes the great philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who distinguished the hatred of the supposedly “civilized” European leaderships and not only, against the creators of Greek Culture and in his work entitled “The Birth of Tragedy» (chap. 15), he writes. "It is evident that in every period of its development, Western European civilization has tried to free itself from the Greeks. This effort is imbued with profound dissatisfaction, because whatever they created, seemingly original and worthy of admiration, lost color and life in comparison with the Greek model, shrank, and ended up resembling a cheap copy, a caricature.
Thus, again and again, a rage imbued with hatred erupts against the Greeks, against this small and arrogant nation, which had the nerve to call barbaric what had not been created on its soil... None of their resurgent enemies were lucky enough to discover the hemlock, with which we could get rid of them once and for all. from them. All the poisons of envy, hubris, hatred have proven insufficient to disturb their supreme beauty..
Thus, people continue to feel shame and fear towards the Greeks. Of course, every now and then, someone appears who recognizes the truth in its entirety, the truth that teaches that the Greeks are the drivers of every upcoming civilization. and almost always both the chariots and the horses of "The qualities of the charioteers of future civilizations are of very low quality compared to the charioteers, who ultimately exercise themselves by driving the chariot into the abyss, which they overcome with an Achilles' leap."!
The answer, therefore, to the "memorandum givers", the "memorandum recipients" and the Greek hunched-over "erasers of national memory", comes from a German, a "stone" of the spirit! Friedrich Nietzsche! To warn them and to boost the morale of the Greeks, who refuse to surrender their weapons, we simply remind them of the Delphic oracle! "A bag swaying, never sinking""! And that Nemesis, the ancient goddess, Avenger and Punisher, is not dead yet!
