The Greek team with students from the Hellenic College of Thessaloniki won the World School Championship in Macau, China with impressive performances. On the way to the final, they defeated the corresponding French team with a score of 74-63. The team had a record of 3 wins and 1 loss in the 2nd group, facing teams from Cyprus, Turkey, Bulgaria and China.
The games were held in three sports centers in Macao and the Greek delegation was hosted in the grounds of the University of Macao. Various events and activities took place during the tournament, such as the Night of Nations, where each country presented its culture.
This success highlights the dedication and talent of the students of the Hellenic College of Thessaloniki and contributes to the promotion of Greek sports worldwide.
