On the occasion of the completion of 83 years since the beginning of the Battle of Crete, the World Organization of Cultural Diplomacy participated in the events held by the Panhellenic Federation of Cultural Cretan Associations, with President Mr. Emmanuel Paterakis and the Pancretian Union of Attica with President Ms. Rena Vasilaki.
At the commemoration and honor events for the fallen of the Battle of Crete, in addition to the Ambassador of the World Organization for Cultural Diplomacy, Mr. Andreas Renzoula, who laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier as part of the celebration, the Deputy Diplomat for International Relations and Diplomat for International Law were present Mr. Georgoulis Stamatis, the Greek-Swiss Diplomat of Sciences, Literature & Human Social Relations Ms. Venetia Pitsiladis-Chuard and the Diplomatic Attaches, Mr. Androulakis Angelos, Ioannis Galanis, Spyridon Papantonis and Fedyshyn Erik.
A wreath was also laid by the Diplomatic Attache Mr. Androulakis Angelos representing the Philological Association "PARNASSOS" and the Diplomatic Attache Mr. Emmanouil Paterakis representing the Panhellenic Federation of Cultural Cretan Societies.
After the Memorial Service at the Holy Temple of the Metropolis of Athens and the laying of wreaths at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, traditional dances by Cretan dance groups followed in Syntagma Square.
