Kostas Vasilakos
Kostas Vasilakos was born and lives permanently in Polydendri, Attica. He studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Piraeus. He studied Group Psychology and Human Resource Management. He worked in the private sector for more than thirty-five years in managerial positions. He is a member of the Society of Greek Writers (E.EL.) and the Panhellenic Union of Writers (P.E.L.). His poems were awarded at the NOSSIDE World Competition, at the Panhellenic Literary Competition of P.E.L., at the Delphi poetry competitions of the Panhellenic Union of Writers (P.E.L.), at the Hellenic Cypriot Cultural Association of Greece (E.P.O.K.). and in the Amphictyonia of Hellenism. Also, his poetry collection "Runaway Words" was honored by the Society of Greek Writers (E.EL.) with the Markos Avgeris prize and the poetry collection "Between Two Moments" was honored by the EPOK with the prize book of the year 2017. His published works: "Thoughts fragments" (poetry, published by Anemos Edtotiki, 2012), "Peri-Diavaionontas" (short stories, published by Angelaki, 2013), "Runaway words" (poetry, published by Anemos Publishing House, 2015).
