Manolis Klonos
Manolis Klonos was born in Athens in May 2008 and until he was 11 years old he lived on the beautiful island of Syros, the Lady of the Cyclades, his mother's place of origin. He then moved with his family to Ierapetra, Crete, his father's place of origin this time. He studies at the 2nd Experimental High School of Ierapetra, where he regularly writes articles for the school newspaper called 'O Telalis', while his first two official articles were published in the summer of 2024 on the website SOCIAL GRAPHICS. During the 2 years he has been in high school so far, he has managed to be elected a member of the 15-member student council both years in a row, having distinguished himself significantly. However, his streak was interrupted when, during a student demonstration for the crime of Tempi, he was required to take down and hide the Greek Flag from his own classmates. As a reaction, he withdrew. At the same time, he is involved in sports and music. He holds a Proficiency level English diploma from the University of Michigan, while he speaks a little German and Spanish. He has taken part in the Panhellenic Student Essay Competition of the University of Patras as well as in a Simulation of the European Parliament in Heraklion, Crete. He is now preparing for the 2 Panhellenic Games, aiming to be admitted to the University of ASOEE, in the Department of International and European Economic Studies or more generally to another similar school, preferably the University of Athens.
