Writer Maria Arapkoule, of Asia Minor and Thracian origin, born in Giannouli~Larissa. She has studied Ancient Greek Literature and has written 20 books, of which eighteen have been published. Her books (for which she has received distinctions) contain poetry, short stories, a slice of the History of her place and fairy tales only about Solidarity. She is a member of many literary and cultural associations such as the "Society of Greek Writers", "E.L.O.SYL", the "Cultural Association of Asia Minor Larissa" and also in solidarity associations such as the "Social Clinic Pharmacy of Larissa".
