When deemed necessary, we are also discussing alternatives outside of the United States, just like with the S400.”
The communication about the purchase of F16s started a year ago. The US Secretary of Defense has previously stated that the framework for this purchase is administratively supported, as well as militarily. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has held three meetings on this issue in Turkey and one meeting on American soil. For its part, Turkey does not consider that the matter has ended.
