ACCELERATE INNOVATION IN AMERICA'S FOOD CHAIN:
Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to accelerate the modernization of American agriculture, empowering farmers and ranchers and strengthening the strength and security of the nation's food chain.
The Decree mandates the Minister of Agriculture to expand the scope of the Ministry of Agriculture's Regenerative Agriculture Pilot Program, to widely communicate the results to stakeholders, and to create public-private partnerships, with the aim of increasing capacity for farmers interested in adopting regenerative agriculture practices.
The Order directs the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to prioritize the registration of alternative crop protection tools and to review data on pre-harvest desiccation uses to ensure compliance with safety and labeling standards.
The Order directs the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to develop research methodologies and frameworks to advance scientific understanding of the effects of cumulative exposure to different categories of regulated chemicals in the food chain.
The Order directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to identify creative solutions that assess exposure, diagnosis, and treatments for the effects of cumulative chemical exposure on individual health, as well as to prioritize research into new, innovative, and cost-effective alternatives to older crop protection tools.

President Trump is empowering America's farmers and ranchers to ensure the nation's food supply is the healthiest, most abundant, and most affordable in the world.
American farmers and ranchers are showing increasing interest in adopting innovative agricultural conservation practices, such as regenerative agriculture, which enhances soil health, reduces production costs, and improves the efficiency of chemical use, limiting their overall use, among other benefits that enhance farm resilience.
The Decree further advances the government's ongoing efforts to implement precision agriculture solutions in programs, in a way that maintains decision-making at the local and practical level, while avoiding burdensome obligations.
President Trump and his administration are ensuring that American farmers and ranchers have unfettered access to new, cost-effective technologies that increase productive potential and strengthen the nation's long-term food security.
President Trump is equipping America's farmers and ranchers with new tools so they can more easily and efficiently feed the nation and strengthen rural economies.
MAKING AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN:
President Trump is delivering on his promise to transform the current system to ensure that all Americans live longer and healthier lives, supported by systems that prioritize prevention, well-being, and resilience.
In February 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order establishing the Presidential Commission to Make America Healthy Again.
In May 2025, the Make America Healthy Again Commission released the report Make Our Children Healthy Again Assessment, while in September 2025 it published the strategy Make Our Children Healthy Again Strategy.
Earlier this year, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Agriculture, and the Environmental Protection Agency made a historic investment of more than $1 billion, aimed at accelerating agricultural modernization and ensuring long-term food security.
