In a press conference, President Joe Biden promised that the evacuation of Kabul would be completed safely and that the United States would not go unpunished for the crime against so many people during yesterday's terrorist attack at Kabul airport.

He directly blamed ISIS-K for the attack and stressed that there was no evidence of Taliban involvement in the attack. In full emotional charge he said "We will chase you and make you pay for it. We will act with precision and determination, the moment we choose. The ISIS terrorists they will not win. "We will safely evacuate all American citizens and our Afghan allies from Afghanistan."
General McKenzie, Afghanistan's evacuation chief, said they expected an attack at some point, and that they were working with the Taliban to prevent further attacks.
The Biden government is in a difficult position after the unplanned evacuation operation in Afghanistan after it fell into the hands of the Taliban. He is accused of a long delay, after he had stated that the troops would leave by the end of September, in the month of April. Evacuation procedures could well have started much earlier and more safely.
