Moraiti Stamatia was born in 1966, graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Athens University of Athens. and works as a philologist in Volos. She is a founding member of the VOIVIIDAS STUDY CENTER (KE.ME.VO.) and the KARLAS LAKE CULTURE MUSEUM in her birthplace, Kanalia Magnesia, where she is active as a volunteer (touring, organization of workshops, cultural events) and has prepared museum-pedagogical programs for all school grades ("Karlax the lake frog", "Games in the lake of the god Apollo", "The call of Itaurus", "Inform - Be active - Protect yourself", "Adventures in the lake", "In the sly city" » ). He participates with presentations at conferences and book presentations and has published articles on cultural heritage issues in magazines such as "Hellenic Panorama", "Magnesia". He loves theater (with many years of activity in school plays) and poetry.
