The city of Corinth is preparing for another year full of vibrancy, creation and inspiration as the Corinthian Peloponnese International Film Festival "GEFYRES" returns for its 15th year, from November 18 to 23, 2024.
The Festival has now become an institution and welcomes visitors from Greece and all over the world offering a unique opportunity for entertainment, cultural exchange and education from distinguished filmmakers.
The non-profit Cineart Culture Society is clearly focused on the development of cultural actions with a strong emphasis on the regional promotion of the work of women in cinema and on strengthening industry networking through an acclaimed jury.
This approach promotes not only art but also professional networking beyond the big cities.

What to expect this year: Film screenings: Greek and international films, premieres in various categories such as world cinema, student cinema, fiction, animation, sports and documentary, virtual and augmented reality, interactive and 360-degree video. Premieres of films by expatriate directors such as A SPARTAN DREAM by the Greek-American Michael A. Nickles with Katerina Didaskalou in the role of Melina Merkouris (Trailer A SPARTAN DREAM) and the comedy Sgt. Fruit Fly by the Greek-Canadian Tommy King with Makis Papadimitriou, on Friday, November 22.
Seminar on Cinema with director Thodoris Maragos on Tuesday, November 19, 10am-1pm. Screening of the movie Learn My Child Letters.
Commentary, production design of a documentary film and the role of cinema in society.
"Pegasus" Film Workshop, 15/11-17/11 : Presentations by distinguished filmmakers and creation of a short film to be screened at the "Golden Pegasus" awards ceremony on November 23. The workshop will take place on Friday, November 15, Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 in collaboration with the Cypriot section Women in Cinema & Television- Cyprus WIFT CYPRUS.
The first meeting of the participants of the three-day workshop will take place online on Friday 15 November to write the script with the representative of WIFT CYPRUS, actress and Inessa Kraft.
This experiential workshop is aimed at teenagers and adults who want to know the process of producing a film.

Saturday 23/11, Conference that includes: AI CINEMA and movie screening on the safe use of Artificial Intelligence programs in the audiovisual sector, with director Nikos Stamatopoulos, Dr. George Alexandridis, Assistant Professor in the Department of Digital Industry Technologies and Kostas Koukoudis, Augmented Reality Researcher "The Future of Theater Cinema in Greece and Abroad" with jury members such as: Lilian Baksalevowz, film distributor from France, Gabor Kutyik, director, animator and special effects creator from Hungary, Marina Bland, mass entertainment industry consultant and activist, Karolina Rum, film distributor and producer from Poland, Grigor Harutyunyan, investment manager (Amber Capital Armenia), Vivek Singhania producer from India, Parsifal Reparato, producer from Italy.

Golden Pegasus Awards Ceremony: Awarded to films of high cinematic value, selected by an international jury.
The Festival also awards special prizes such as the "Nostimon Imar" for diaspora film, the "Phaedon Papamichael" Technical Award for photography or production design, the "Katerina Helmi" Acting Award for a female role in a feature film, the "We Can ” for a film highlighting people with special needs and the “BRIDGES Young Eye” Award for a film by a new creator.
