With our expanded schedule, three seat classes, and seamless connections via Montreal and Toronto, Air Canada remains the preferred choice for travel between Greece and Canada.
Flights to and from Athens are scheduled to offer easy connections via Montreal and Toronto to destinations throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and South America.”
Ioanna Papadopoulou, Director of Communications & Marketing at Athens International Airport, stated:
“We are particularly pleased that Air Canada is restarting and strengthening its program to Athens International Airport for the summer 2026 season. The Canadian market continues to record strong momentum, with Athens constantly gaining ground in the preferences of Canadian travelers. Particularly important is the fact that this year the program starts one month earlier than last year, substantially contributing to the lengthening of the tourist season and the reduction of seasonality. We warmly thank our airline partner for its trust and we remain firmly committed to supporting its development plans in the Athens market.”
Passengers continuing their journey to the United States via Montreal or Toronto also benefit from U.S. pre-entry screening facilities. (US Pre-Clearance) in Canada, which allow for faster passport control and arrival in the US as domestic flight passengers.
The flights will be operated by aircraft of the type Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Boeing 777 Air Canada, which offer three seat categories:
- Air Canada Signature Class with fully reclining seats (lie-flat),
upgraded culinary options and priority services
- Premium Economy with wider seats and enhanced meal service
- Economy Class with free meals and individual entertainment screens
