We have already entered the year of the Wood Snake, as of January 29, according to the Chinese calendar. And as a Chinese friend assured us, “it is good, because the snake sheds its skin, so we will see pleasant changes.”
Otherwise, the Chinese embassy in Greece held a very impressive event to celebrate this event, and in fact in the center of Athens, inviting all Chinese tourists in the capital to feel the warmth of celebrating this important day.
Traditional music, traditional dances and lots of colors filled Syntagma Square on Friday, January 31, and impressed passersby.

From a (Chinese) astrological perspective, those belonging to mutable signs (tigers and rabbits) will have a very good time this year, while fixed signs (horses and oxen) will have to clarify several things.
In turn, those belonging to the zodiac sign of the snake will enjoy their radiance, flexibility, and grace, since this means "changing skin," that is, renewing yourself and seeking new experiences, or - even better - living your life with a new perspective.
