Free concerts, outdoor activities, yoga and a special program with newborn sea turtles
The last few days of August offer plenty of opportunities for outings and entertainment in Palm Beach County. From free concerts on the West Palm Beach waterfront and Wellington Amphitheater to live music and outdoor activities in Jupiter, area residents and visitors can choose from a variety of events.
Live music in West Palm Beach
The well-known Clematis by Night outdoor concert series continues at Centennial Square and the Great Lawn, next to the West Palm Beach waterfront.
On Thursday, August 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., the band CoverUp will present a program of pop, punk and alternative music. Admission is free and guests are welcome to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the concert next to the Intracoastal.
On Thursday, August 27, at the same time, the band East Harbor will take the stage, with a program that moves in the field of alternative pop music.

Musical tributes to Wellington
The Wellington Amphitheater continues its summer program with concerts and tributes to well-known artists and bands.
On Thursday, August 20, Beyond the Beatles will be presented, a musical tribute to the solo careers of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The evening gives the audience the opportunity to hear songs that marked the musical journey of the four members of the Beatles after the breakup of the legendary band.
On Saturday, August 22, from 6:30 to 10:00 pm, the band Grey Street presents a tribute to the Dave Matthews Band.
The month's program concludes on Saturday, August 29th with The Dirtt and a musical experience dedicated to Mötley Crüe.

A musical weekend in Jupiter
The musical program at Jupiter's Guanabanas is also rich.
On Friday, August 21, at 8:00 pm, the Sonny East Band, a band with a blues and rock sound, will perform.
On Saturday, August 22, Tritone will present an afternoon program from 3:00 to 6:00, with influences from funk, fusion and progressive music. Later, at 8:00 pm, Spred The Dub will take the stage, combining ska, punk, dub and rock.
On Sunday, August 23, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Mangrove Mark will present a free acoustic program of classic rock songs. This performance is open to all ages.
Guanabanas is located at 960 N Highway A1A, Jupiter. Concerts are free, but age restrictions may apply for some evening performances. The updated schedule is at Guanabanas website.
Yoga and activities at Harbourside Place
Those who prefer to start their Sunday with exercise can join Morning Yoga With Breathe Salt Yoga, on Sunday, August 23, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Harbourside Place.
The same space also hosts Harbourside Place Run Club meetings, knowledge nights, as well as other exercise and entertainment activities. Those interested can consult the official Harbourside Place calendar.
A unique experience with sea turtles
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center offers a special educational program in August to observe the release of newborn sea turtles.
The experience lasts approximately two hours and begins with an introduction to sea turtles, nests, and the hatching process. Participants then head to the beach to watch the center staff release hatchlings.
The program is aimed at people aged 10 and over and requires prior booking. The presence of turtles cannot be guaranteed every night, as it depends on the nests that have been checked on the same day. Photos and lenses are not allowed during the activity. Information and bookings are provided by Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
