FIVE YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL OPERATION OF Greek News & Radio FL
THE VOICE OF GREECE THROUGH Greek News & Radio FL AND
CREATOR IOANNA LAZAROU FOR THE FIVE YEARS OF OPERATION
The worthy and modern daughter of Greece, Ioanna Lazarou, gave a dynamic mark of Greekness throughout the world, with the creation of the radio station and newspaper ΄΄ Greek News & Radio FL in Miami on the east coast of the USA. The moment of the implementation of such a great and important event, to hear, see and read about the culture and history of many Greeks, is very important. The events in all kinds of broadcasts constitute documents of the modern life and history of our homeland. The television and journalistic recordings of the media of Greek News & Radio FL constitute archival material of many data of the multiplicity of the history of our country. This embrace that Ioanna Lazarou opened with great responsibility for Hellenism and its course over time is very important. The overall projection of the internationalization of Greek reality in the modern world is qualitative and valuable. The Greek News & Radio FL operates as an ambassador and protector for difference in the media, following laws and respecting the truth. The presentation based on the qualitative characteristics of the people it collaborated with and featured gave the stigma of their value throughout the world. The shows with the traditions of Greek life in many areas opened windows for readings of memory and history. Ioanna Lazarou, journalist, writer, publisher and director of Greek News & Radio FL, through her show Kyriakatiko Magazine, created a long and unique show. Her topics, always with distinguished and knowledgeable people of the subject, give them food for multifaceted knowledge and reflection. She herself, who is low-key about her work, remains simple in her everyday life with her eyes focused on planning new collaborations. We find her running at many events related to the Greek element in the USA and elsewhere in the world. She tirelessly plays a significant role in her external witness to Hellenism and its existence in the global firmament of ethnicities. I met her at the beginning of her project and I was impressed by her confidence, enthusiasm, and sincerity that overflowed from her heart. Her dream, she told me, was to unite the voices and feelings of Greeks in order to create a large and global family of Greeks everywhere. Now, after five years, everything has taken its course with the success of Greek News & Rdio FL and its dialogue with the history, art, science, and culture of Greece. In[I] To all of us who have collaborated and continue to be part of this dynamic of Greek News & Radio FL, I wish that we will accompany Ioanna Lazarou on her journey with open horizons. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Greek News & Radio FL with good news always.
