and come and have fun at the "Carnival of the World"!

On Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 11:00, The Municipality of Athens invites the children to biggest carnival celebration, at ZappeionTheir established date with the joy of the Athenian carnival is approaching and the little masquerades are preparing to take action, spreading their rhythm, joy and vitality throughout the city center.

The courtyard of the Zappeion is transformed into the setting of the most colorful outdoor celebration "The Carnival of the World" with a rich program of activities that combine play, tradition and entertainment for the whole family, which has been curated by Culture, Sports and Youth Organization of the Municipality of Athens.

Music, dancing, stilts, carnival games, face painting, balloon creations, a Chinese dragon, plenty of streamers and many surprises make up the puzzle of this year's celebration, which will be "dressed" with the melodies of
the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens.

The "Carnival of the World" comes to the heart of Athens starring our little friends, to take them on the most magical Carnival adventure. Don't miss out!
