The illusion that elected leaders govern countries is the greatest theater of our time. Presidents, prime ministers, and parliaments appear as “sovereigns,” but in reality they function as executive organs of a global elite. Decisions that affect billions of lives are made not in parliaments, but in closed clubs like Bilderberg, the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
When National Governments Back Down
The examples are countless:
- The Greek debt crisis (2010–2015): The Greeks voted “No” in the 2015 referendum, but the decision made no difference. The lenders, through the ECB, the IMF and the EU, imposed memoranda, ignoring the people’s vote. The national will was crushed by the markets and the banks.
- The COVID-19 pandemic: The measures, guidelines and decisions on vaccines were not determined by each country independently, but were presented as “guidelines” by the WHO, the WEF and pharmaceutical companies. Those governments that tried to diverge were subjected to tremendous pressure.
- Energy crisis and sanctions on Russia: The people of Europe paid with expensive electricity and fuel for embargo decisions, which were presented as “national choices.” But the real winners were the energy giants and transatlantic allies.
- Digital identities and surveillance: In Davos, the WEF talks openly about the “Great Reset” and a global society of digital surveillance. We then see states adopting policies that align with these directions, as if this is “the future we cannot avoid.”
The Marionette and the Hand That Pulls the Strings
When a prime minister announces a “difficult but necessary” decision, the people think it resulted from a national analysis. In reality, it is the result of pressure, “recommendations” or even direct orders from international circles. Those who dare to differ are stigmatized as “populists” or “dangerous” and are often expelled from the political scene.
Why It Concerns Us All
If we do not wake up, we will continue to live in an illusion of democracy. The real rulers are not accountable to the people nor are they elected. They belong to clubs, committees and forums that plan our future without us.
The question is no longer which party will be elected. The question is:
When will the peoples demand real sovereignty? When will we stop tolerating the theater and seeing the puppets instead of those who pull the strings?
