International meeting of culture and filmmaking in Roccaraso of Italy
The AmiCorti Film Festival 2025, held in the idyllic Roccaraso of Italy, confirmed its position as one of the most multicultural and dynamic film festivals in Europe this year. With participation from more than 70 countries, it highlighted the power of art to bridge cultures and cultivate values of peace, cooperation and creative coexistence.
The program included screenings of short and feature films, international workshops, scientific panels dedicated to cinema, the environment and public health, as well as masterclasses by renowned creators.
The following participated from Greece in the Short Film Jury:

Evangelos Protopapadakis, Professor of Applied Philosophy at the National University of Athens, who was honored for his contribution to the philosophy, ethics and theoretical foundation of the art of cinema,
-
as well as Vicky Bafataki, Communicator, academic bioethics researcher and member of the Applied Philosophy Laboratory of the National University of Athens, with a specialization in bioethics and scientific communication.
During the awards ceremony, in addition to the distinguished creators, the following were honored:

Oscar-winning director and screenwriter Paul Haggis,

two-time Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Evgeny Afineevsky,
-
Serbian actor Darko Perić, known to the general public from the international television success The House of Paper,
-
o Venezuelan actor and singer Carlos Kill
-
the screenwriter and author Enrique Torres from Argentina
-
the Italian composer and singer Emanuele Pavano, for his musical contribution and artistic consistency.
An important moment of the evening was the screening of the new video clip by Iranian singer Fariman, an artist with an international career and socially charged work.
The artistic direction of the festival belonged to Drita Rossi, founder of the institution and lyricist, while Emanuele Pavano signed the musical identity of the festival. The song “Peace and Humanity”, with lyrics by Rossi and music by Pavano, became an informal symbol of this year's event.
The closing ceremony culminated with a concert by famous American singers and actors Al Sapienza and Debora Renard, associations of high art and global friendship.

Presenters of the event are: Daria Graceful and Savior MarriedThe ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Roccaraso, Francis Di Donato, Deputy Mayors and friends of the festival.
The AmiCorti Film Festival 2025 proved that the art of cinema, when served with ethics and an open spirit, can become a platform for dialogue, inspiration and global cultural connection.
