Athena Gremou studied at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. She has worked in London for two years as a consultant for nutritional supplements, therapeutic herbs and superfoods. For the last five years, she has been living in Long Island, New York, where she works as a teacher - nursery assistant. As part of her professional training and development, she has attended and continues to attend a series of online and in-person educational seminars, which concern psychomotor development, safety and the best way to manage children in nursery age. At the same time, she teaches Greek language classes at the Church of the Resurrection in Brookville. Her love for giving to her fellow man led her to complete a six-month first aid training. She is an active first aid volunteer (EMT) at the Centerport Fire Department. She has also worked as a dance teacher in the past. She loves dancing, reading, cycling and painting.
