Yannis Fikas is the Founder and President of the Academy of Pharsalon. He is a Journalist of FIJET, Fédération Internationale des Journalistes et Ecrivains du Tourisme. He worked as Director of Humanities at BCA College from 2020 to 2023, as Director of Corporate Relations & Cooperative Education at New York College and taught ancient Greek philosophy and ancient civilizations at the State University of New York/Empire State College from 2012 to 2019. He also worked as Executive Director for Learning Technologies at the American College of Greece from 1995 to 2011 and taught Renaissance philosophy in the Graduate Program of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from 2001 to 2008.
He is a graduate of the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics of the Polytechnic School of Patras, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He is the author of eight books with philosophical and anthropological content:
