Eleni Louka was born in Strogyli, Corfu. At the Girls' Gymnasium and Lyceum of Corfu, she excelled all over Greece in the shot put and the pentathlon, taking first places. In Germany he studied Biology and worked for 3 years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology where he supervised the research and teaching areas of the Department. He worked in the Municipality of Saarbrücken in the Department of Botany where he was involved in the statistical recording of all types of wild vegetation in the city and the writing of a Compendium of various types of shrubs and trees. In Greece he did an internship in the biochemical laboratory of Agios Savvas. He worked for 28 years in the private sector in a foreign language school teaching German. From 2012-2019, as a member of the Hellenic Islands Association, he took the initiative of implementing a research for the identification of three monumental centuries-old olive trees in Strogyli, Corfu. This world-leading scientific study was carried out by the University of Botany and Forest Zoology in Dresden, Germany, led by Professor Andreas Roloff and with the successful collaboration with the GREECE AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION and the support of its president, Eleni Konofou. The results of the research rank these among the ten oldest in the world. The myth included in the poetry collection <Trackers on the Paths of a Dawn> concerns these olive trees. In June 2019, in a brilliant celebration in the presence of Professor Roloff and local authorities, the Evdokia olive tree, one of the three in the research, was highlighted and fenced off, and the relevant sign was placed next to it. Her first poetry collection < Our small life is one in infinity the straight dot > in 2015, the second << Tracers on the Paths of a Dawn>> in 2016 and the third < On the Horizon of Hope> in 2020 were published by the same Ocelot publishing house. In May 2022, he also published the fourth under the title <<Poetry of Methexis>> by Alloste publications. Her poems have been included in three poetry anthologies published by Ostria, in Anthologies and Encyclopedias of Letters and Arts of Amphictyonia Hellenism, in the magazine Myrtilo published by Ocelotos, in artistic diaries of the online magazine tobivlio.net. In the online magazines Fractal, biblionet, Homo Universalis, Custodians Due to Arts, NINE MUSES, www.Koukidaki.gr and Due to Writing she has taken part in the collective project <<Unsubsidized Letters>> and many of her poems have been published. She has taken part in the 2018th World Poetry Competition 2021 of the Amphictyonia of Hellenism where she received praise for two of her poems and also in the XNUMXth where she received the third prize for her poem <<Greece>> which was set to music by the musician Eleftheria Metaxas. In XNUMX he received the Athanasios Diakos prize in the XNUMXst world poetry competition from the Amphictyonia of Hellenism and the same year from the speech, music and art association <<Linos>> praise for the poem <<I am looking for>>. Her poem <<The contribution of the Ionian Islands and Kapodistrias to the revolution of 1821>> was included in 2022 in an electronic book of the Ionian library. Her poems have been set to music by several musicians. He is a regular member of the Society of Greek Writers and the Panhellenic Union of Writers.
