Eleni Tzatzimaki was born in Athens in 1986. She studied Greek philology at the University of Athens and continued at the postgraduate level at the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV). She is preparing her doctoral thesis at the Department of Modern Greek Philology of the University of Athens. She has studied modern music and jazz singing while her personal discography includes two records ("Kirki"-Metronomos, 2012, "Soulfully"-Final Touch, 2014), in collaboration with, among others, Manos Eleftheriou and Michalis Gana .In 2009, for her first poetry collection "The Magic of Buoyancy", she was nominated for the Debut Author award of the magazine Diavazo. Her poems have been translated into English, French, German, Romanian, Italian and Slovenian.
