Gerasimos Tzivras
Dr. Gerasimos Tzivras, MD, a doctor of general surgery, enteroproctology, phlebology, and addiction medicine, was born in Argostoli, Kefalonia, is a permanent resident of Germany, married to the Greek physician/anesthesiologist Dr. Ioanna Papachristou, and they have two children. OG. Tzivras is a member of the board of directors of the European Union Association / Regional Committee Herne Germany, a member of the board of directors of the Society of Greek Scientists of North Rhine-Westphalia (GREKA eV), a member of the board of directors of the Society of Greek Authors of Germany (GGAD eV), a member of the National Society of Greek Writers, a member of the Association of Christian Churches (ACK), a representative for Germany of the Cultural Association of Greece Cyprus (SPEK), a representative of the Panorama International Literature Festival, a member of the Writers Capital International Foundation, as well as a member of the Scientific Community of Germany, who honors Greece with his science, being highly appreciated by the people he has treated/is treating. As a retiree, in addition to volunteering in his science, he is actively involved in poetry and music (including choirmaster), including Byzantine, being an active Cantor. The recording of his poems, which he previously did not keep, began in March 2021, given the opportunity, with the recognition of awards in poetry competitions and the setting of many of his poems to music, as well as with donations of copies to schools (including Ionideio School Gymnasium of Piraeus, Ampelokipi Gymnasium of Menemeni, Thessaloniki, etc.), to libraries in Greece and Germany, to Municipalities, etc., Lectures with presentations of poems set to music and poetic work in general in Greece and Germany.
