Katerina Marinaki was born in Folegandros of the Cyclades and studied Kindergarten Teacher at the ATEI. Of Athens and "European Culture" at the Hellenic Open University, before continuing in Postgraduate Studies - Master in Folklore at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. She speaks English, French and Italian, is married and a mother of two. From 1998 until today she is the publisher of the publications "Small Cyclades - Traveling in the Aegean and the Ionian", which publish a number of publications, such as local newspapers, magazines, travel guides, books and corporate publications of ferry companies (on board magazines). Their latest publication is the "GREEK GASTRONOMY CALENDAR", a completely innovative guide in English, which includes all Festivals, which take place throughout Greece with the object of local products and local gastronomy. She has participated as a speaker in many Conferences, which mainly concerned European, Greek and island Folklore, History and Tradition. Her articles and studies have been published in many magazines and newspapers nationwide or locally. He is the author of the books: "Ano Meria Folegandros - Housing and Biotic organization" and "Folegandros Island". Finally, he had the folklore editing in the documentary series about the 24 Cycladic Islands, published by the former Prefecture of Cyclades, directed by George Dampasis.
