Mr. Lambros Skontzos is a theologian and experienced author of numerous essays and articles of theological, social, national and historical content. He is specialized in the anti-heretical field, a thorough connoisseur of the ancient and modern scene of sects and offers his services in relevant areas of the Church. He participates in the annual Pan-Orthodox Conferences of Authorized Orthodox Churches and Holy Metropolises, on issues of sects and para-religion, as a speaker and observer, for the last 22 years. He served for 16 years as a member of the Synodal Committee on Heresies of the Holy Synod. He teaches at the Training School for Candidate Catechists of the Apostolic Ministry. He has compiled and published more than 350 Synaxaries of Saints. He collaborates with authoritative newspapers, magazines and websites as a permanent and temporary columnist. He is a partner of the R/S "Piraiki Church" and the R/S of the Holy Metropolises of Kefallinia, Aetolia and Akarnania, Fthiotidos, Paronaxia, Artis, etc. with a weekly show of his own production, as well as that of the television station "Acheloos TV" and the internet television "Pemptousia". He has toured, as a speaker, in many parts of Greece. He has been awarded by many bodies for his work. He is distinguished by his fervent zeal for the saving truth of the Church and his confessional view of Orthodoxy, which he proclaims as the only One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Christ.
