After his retirement from the UN he worked as a Special Adviser on International Relations at the Academy of Athens and at the National Telecommunications and Posts Commission.
He also paid tribute to the National Commission under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the UN.
From 2001 to 2013 he was Professor and President of the Department of International Relations at Indianapolis University in Athens, Head of the Pioneering Seminar "Ambassadors' Forum", and from March 2014 to March 2015 he was Professor and Director of Diplomas and Diplomas. of New York in Athens Head of the Seminar "The Ambassadors' Academic Tribune").

He has published many articles in the Greek press and some in foreign countries, has given dozens of lectures at Greek and foreign Universities, NGOs, Open Universities, etc., as well as numerous media interviews on international issues and the UN, has organized many conferences on current and key international issues, and has presented important books.
He has been awarded the first Panhellenic Prize and a special Commendation for his peace poetry from the Delphic Amphictyones, the international IPEKTSI Prize for his poetry for peace and communication, a Commendation from NOUMAS magazine for short story, as well as others important organizations for his work at the UN and the Letters (Pan-Arkada Federation of America, Hellenic Committee for International Recession and Peace {EDYE}, Maragopoulos Foundation (IMDA), Prefecture of Attica, Acropolis Appeal, etc.). In 2011 he was named Faculty of the Year at the University of Indianapolis, Athens. In 2014 he was awarded by the Hellenic Society of Benefactors for his voluntary work and was named "Volunteer Ambassador", and in 2015 by the Koutsochera Foundation for his contribution to Letters and Culture.
On his own initiative, an Open University was founded in Vrilissia under the auspices of the Municipality in 2007 and was, on a voluntary basis, Organizer and Coordinator until 2016.
