Rita Antonopoulou is a contemporary performer with a deep knowledge of singing, a vocal teacher and a completely personal way of expression that has ranked her among the greatest singers in Greece today. She has collaborated with the greatest composers and creators of Greek song (Thanos Mikroutsikos, Mikis Theodorakis, Stamatis Kraounakis, Stavros Xarchakos, Giannis Markopoulos, Mimis Plessas, Manos Eleftheriou, Vassilis Papakonstantinou, Odysseas Ioannou, Christos Thivaios, Giorgos Andreou, Miltos Paschalidis, Nikos Zoudiaris, etc.) and has five recording projects to her credit ("For voice and orchestra" 2007, "Let's start from the beginning again" 2008, "A city for two" 2011, "My life, don't be late" 2014, "Rita Antonopoulou and Thodoris Economou Live", 2021), as well as a large number of individual songs. She has recently released two songs with lyrics by herself and music by Stavros Siolas, which are the precursors of the complete discography that will be released in 2025. She has participated in musical and theatrical performances that have achieved enormous success and has appeared in all the major historical venues and theaters of the country (Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Herodes Atticus, Little Epidaurus and many others). With a continuous and steady course, she has performed throughout Greece and abroad, with the main goal of interpreting great songs from the widest range of the Greek and foreign repertoire.
