Chef Tony was born in Cairo, Egypt. His grandparents all came from the Aegean islands.
He has spent 48 years in the restaurant trade as a Chef, restaurant owner, culinary instructor, restaurant consultant, and cook-book author.
Studied and worked in South Africa from 1974 to 1994, another 20 professional years in Athens, Greece from 1994 to 2014 and since then living and working in the USA. Founder of, TheGreekChef.us and Savor Greece channel on YouTube creating videos that promote the Greek tradition and gastronomic culture.
The 3 ingredients he stands by are Greek salt, Greek herbs and Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Chef Tony was born in Cairo, Egypt. The origin of his grandparents is from the Aegean islands.
He has been professionally involved in gastronomy for 48 years as a Chef, restaurateur, cookery teacher, restaurant consultant and cookbook author.
He studied in South Africa where he worked from 1974 to 1994. Then he returned to Greece for another 20 professional years until 2014 and now lives and works in America.
Founder of the website TheGreekChef.us as well as the Savor Greece channel on YouTube from where he shows videos about Greek tradition and culinary culture.
