Vasilios Bellios
Vasilios Bellios was born in 1937 in Greece, in the small village of Tzivas in Arcadia. He studied medicine at the University of Vienna in Austria, where he also obtained a doctorate.
After completing his military service in Greece, he returned to Vienna, where he specialized in obstetrics and gynecology.
He eventually returned to Greece, where he distinguished himself as a dedicated physician, helping women and successfully delivering over 5.000 babies. Alongside his medical practice, he was actively involved in teaching and lecturing on topics related to Greek demography, fertility and human relations, in various parents' associations and schools throughout Greece.
He is married to Anastasia Papandrianou, a professor of English literature, and they have three children — two sons and a daughter.
An excellent German speaker, but with a deep appreciation and interest in his native language, Greek, Vasilios has studied the ancient Greek philosophers. He has always been fascinated by their profound wisdom and believes that their teachings remain more relevant than ever.
