Just before I started writing this article, I was listening to a song, a poem set to music, that simply described the current situation in a way different from that of the news reports, with the cockfighting of non-existent solutions by irresponsible politicians. "Wild life and light like snow / people transparent and alone… / Harsh weather and unfair hour, / evil fairy without gifts… / Burnt night, land of the homeless, / day of slaves, of the unemployed… / Gray dreams and cold words, like winter landscapes"!
This description constitutes today. But no one wanted to look for the reasons why we reached this situation, because almost everyone was either comfortable with it or had come to terms with it, knowing its mechanisms well. The mechanisms of a corrupt state. It is truly astonishing, if one considers the extent of corruption that Greek society has reached in recent post-political years. There is no part of its fabric that is not steeped in rot and political stench and stench.. All of this certainly did not start like this. It was preceded by the institutionalization of moral corruption by the various parties in power, the course of which they successively followed.
Corruption began with the three branches of government. Legislative, executive, and judicial. Of course, without remaining indifferent, the majority of the fourth branch, namely the media, also followed inextricably. The Legislative branch voted thousands of "photographic laws" in amendments to bills (inventions of corruption of the system), which passed at night and during periods of rain (holiday), to serve big interests and "others"Certainly in such categories, where the interest of the homeland comes into play, disinterestedness is an unknown word. Let's not say, of course, what every honest Greek businessman had to go through to open a business that would lead the country to development. Years of delays, oil spills, thousands of euros, speed bumps and many other amazing things!
Corruption even reached the judiciary. The judicial system was another point of entanglement and corruption. Even in football, the sporting ideal had been covered by the fog of match-fixing.!
Bribes are on the agenda. The state, ministries, members of parliament, mayors, deputy mayors, urban planning, PPC, etc. (with the few exceptions that prove the rule) They served the citizens, who were sometimes right and sometimes wrong, without compensation. To issue a document, from a certificate, a certificate, to a street market vendor's license, you had to have "an old man in Koroni" or the "financial key" to unlock the door of the obvious.. The starter solved every problem, regardless of law.. Those in the right paid to expedite their case, the illegals to legalize their illegality.A classic point of conflict, revealed after the last censuses, was the "pensions – monkeys", which had been given to various people, without them being entitled to them. Disability pensions for able-bodied people, blindness pensions for open-eyed taxi drivers, etc. These pensions were certified by doctors, signed by employees. Who was punished, whose assets were seized? Who paid? The question is rhetorical, and the answer is rhetorical..
Then we have the "fake diploma industry", which have been revealed in recent years: 4500 in education, tens of thousands in various other services. What are they telling us, then? That for so many years corrupt, incompetent, forgeries ruled and administeredFor so many years, all of them were appointed, rewarded, became, for example, in Education, Secondary School Principals, High School Principals, Middle School Principals, in Public Administration, Supervisors, senior executives, etc. A long-time senior executive was recently fired (Greek Golden Boy) with a fake degree from Columbia University in the USA. I am not talking of course about doctorates from non-existent universities, such as the "Alpin of Zurich" and various others.
To this day, thieves and crooked ministers invoke their "law on responsibility", which legally exempts them from proven corruption. So what is needed? A complete overthrow, through the vote. To govern with leaders with authority, who hurt Greece. But they have them on the sidelines, they do not promote them. The people must stop having a short memory, loss of mind and masochism, so as not to vote for their executioner. And demand that someone be elected who will repeal the "law on ministerial irresponsibility" with retroactive effect. (the English already did it), will lift the statute of limitations on offenses and will punish those responsible from the time of the change of government onwards. At this moment, an unelected and most disliked person among the Greek people is threshing, deciding and ordering.. Those who ate the money of the Greek people are not being prosecuted, while the president of ELSTAT is unharmed (not even the Greek judiciary can request evidence). If possible! It prohibits research into how we were led to the memorandum, it plays with the future of the Greeks and mocks everyone.!
I do know, however, that Nemesis always follows Yvryn.. And the restoration of the balance of things is near. The foolish, until now, Greek people just need to put in a little brains and understand their power! Otherwise, Ayn Rand, the Russian-American philosopher and writer, will be justified, who has said: "When you understand that in order to create something you have to get permission from someone who creates absolutely nothing... When you prove that the money is not received by you who work honestly but goes to someone who does suspicious work or has a position with means... When you understand that many become rich not through work but through bribes and state money, because they control the political system and that the laws do not protect them but rather the opposite, you protect them yourself... When you understand that corruption is rewarded while honesty turns into a sacrifice, then you can affirm without the fear of being wrong that your society, your homeland, are doomed."!
