An exciting adventure for children in the school holiday program of the Greek Community of Melbourne
The Greek Community of Melbourne invites its young friends, from toddlers to the first grades of high school, to enter the Labyrinth and experience a unique adventure through the original educational holiday program “Escape Room ala Hellenic: Escape from the Labyrinth”. The program combines fun and adventure with the Greek language, mythology, customs and traditions, offering children a unique learning experience through play.
To find their way out of the Labyrinth, little explorers will need to solve puzzles and riddles, untangle tongue twisters, work together, discover clues, and complete a series of fun missions. Along the way, they will meet heroes and stories from Greek mythology, try their hand at creative constructions, and even prepare a traditional Greek recipe. And of course, many more surprises await them inside the Labyrinth!
The program will take place on two different dates and locations: Monday 21 September, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm, at Huntingdale Hall, Germain St, Oakleigh South Huntingdale, and Thursday 24 September, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm, at Belle Vue Primary School, 20 Highview Rd, Balwyn North VIC 3104. The activities are designed to allow children to use Greek in a natural and creative way, while developing their collaboration, communication, imagination and critical thinking.
This particular program transforms the Greek language and culture into a game, discovery and living experience. Instead of a traditional lesson, children are invited to use what they know, discover new things and, most importantly, have fun through Greek.
The Greek Community of Melbourne therefore invites all children to put on the little explorer's hat and take on the challenge! Will they be able to solve all the puzzles, overcome the trials and find the way out of the Labyrinth? The adventure begins...
