We live in a world of contradictions, where reality seems to depend on who has the money and who holds the microphone. And somewhere in this chaos, the people are just watching — confused, angry, but silent.
Today, for better or worse, we have again Donald Trump in the spotlight, with high ratings and an army of supporters who declare themselves ready to support him in power. He stood by his side until recently Elon Musk, one of the most powerful people in the world, along with his son — who he loved Trump and was constantly by his side.
And suddenly?
After a bill that hit the interests of companies, and stopped the flow of government funding to Musk, he turns around and denounces Trump that he was involved with the notorious Epstein and minors.
But didn't you know that before, Mr. Musk?
Didn't you trust Trump enough to have him around your child?
At the same time, the Democrats, who denounce the Trump administration for any "illegality", have allow the entry of 25 million illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris term.
And now what do they say? That... Is the government "thirsty" immigrants at the border?
Where is the consistency?
Since the Clinton era, the immigration was presented as a problem, and every candidate made it a campaign slogan. But when it came time to govern? They opened the gates.
In California, fires are consuming thousands of acres, infrastructures collapse, and in their place hotspots are being set up to "host" illegal immigrants. Those who warned of what was coming were labeled as exaggerating. And now? Now it's too late.
The question is one:
Is there still truth in politics?
Or is it all a matter of serving interests, controlling public opinion, and mutual exploitation?
The people?
What role do the people play in all of this?
Is he thinking or following?
Does he question or applaud?
Are we just whining until it's time to be slaughtered?
