COMPARISONS WITH THE GOVERNMENTS OF OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES
After the terrible <accident> of Tempes which shocked Greece and will shock public opinion for a long time to come, until the responsibilities are attributed and the guilty are punished, the sovereign Greek people must finally put in their minds whether the political leaders who he elects, alternating in power, indeed serve his well-intentioned interests.
In a national calamity, such as the tragedy of Tempe, when many are responsible, then... no one is responsible. Although in a crime, according to the law, there is the perpetrator, but also the moral perpetrator, it has been shown that in Greece only the perpetrators of an ethnic group are punished
of a crime and not the co-responsible politicians, who are usually in the invulnerable position. And this is clearly seen from the public statement of apology of the Prime Minister Mr. Mitsotakis for the tragedy of Tempe, which seems to be a timeless crime in the legal sense of the word, as a crime is any act or omission, unjust, reprehensible and punishable. And in the case of the Tempe tragedy, apart from the inappropriate station master, there are also omissions on the part of successive governments over time, where
they are unjust, both catalogers and punishers.
Therefore, in view of the impending elections, the sovereign Greek People, who bring the governments to power with their vote, to which Mr. Mitsotakis constantly assigns responsibility for the mess of the railways, must think seriously about how much he himself is responsible for the tragedies that find him. For 80 years, the Greek people brought to power three mainly politicians with their descendants: Karamanlis, Papandreou, Mitsotakis. In no European state do the prime ministers or chancellors or presidents of the Republic alternate within their families in power. In England, for example, after Winston Churchill, the Prime Ministers were, in chronological order, Clement Hartley, Tony Eden, Harold Macmillan, Helen Douglas Hume, Edward Heath, James Callahan, Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown , Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak.
Did you hear of any of their descendants succeeding them in power? You do.
In Germany, after Hitler, we have the following chancellors: Konrad Adenauer, Ludwig Erhardt, Kurt Kissinger, Willy Brandt, Helmut Schmidt, Helmut Kohl, Gerhard Schroeder, Angela Merkel, Laf Solz. Did you hear of any of their descendants succeeding them in power? You do.
Let's look at France: After Charles De Gaulle, Georges Pompidou, François Mitterrand, Giscard d'Estein, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy, François Hollande, Emmanuel Macron were elected presidents of the French Republic. Here and there, a prisoner in power.
