Η greek News FL and its greek Radio FL, are celebrating their 5th anniversary. The owner, Mrs. Ioanna Lazarou makes us proud because her fighting spirit and her effort to keep the flame of our homeland burning with the power of the written word and the radio waves on the other side of the Atlantic in Miami. Her newspaper is of exceptional quality because it does not serve party interests but fights for the rights of the homeland and of Greeks everywhere. She managed to give the opportunity to people of letters and arts and not only to express themselves freely and denounce wrongdoings. She brought people who live on different continents together and I consider this a great achievement. With the radio, dear Mrs. Ioanna gave life and direct communication, which is essential because in today's society the world has become isolated.
I want to wish her a big thank you and also my warmest congratulations.
