To Mrs. Ioanna Lazarou, with deep gratitude
With special emotion and deep appreciation, I want to express my warmest and most sincere wishes to dear Ms. Ioanna Lazarou, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Greek News and Radio in the United States.
The path of a person who consistently serves Hellenism, culture and Greece is not measured only in years, but mainly in people, values, struggles and work that he leaves behind.
Ioanna Lazarou has been a valuable and constant companion in my personal work for the promotion and international promotion of our Greek cultural heritage over the years. With warm support, trust and substantial interest, she stood by me at every important step, contributing to the promotion of the Salaminians, the historical heritage of Salamis and the effort for the global promotion of Greek cultural diplomacy.
The international recognition of the Salamis and the participation and presence of 63 countries constitute an important milestone in an effort that goes beyond Greek borders and highlights the history, culture and timeless values of Greece to the world.
Throughout this journey, her voice, her journalistic presence, and her tireless support have been particularly important to me. And I could not help but publicly acknowledge that she has been by my side every step of the way, in my efforts, in the distinctions, and in the difficult but also beautiful moments of this journey.
For all of this, I will be forever grateful to her.
I thank her not only for her personal support of my work, but mainly for her own valuable work: for the way in which she has for years promoted Greece, Greek culture, history, and the voice of Hellenism in the United States and beyond.
Because Hellenism in the Diaspora needs people who do not forget their roots and who consistently keep Greece alive in the hearts and consciousness of future generations.
Ioanna, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything.
For your trust, support, love and faith in my work, but also for everything you have offered and continue to offer to Hellenism.
I wholeheartedly wish that Greek News and Radio will continue to be a strong bridge between Greece and America for many more years, serving information, culture, and Hellenism with the same love.
Happy anniversary to you, with health, strength and even greater success.
With deep appreciation, respect and eternal gratitude,
