My dear Mr. Lazarus,
I send you from Greece my warmest greetings and my most heartfelt wishes for today's birthday celebration of the station.
Geographical distance may not allow me to be with you tonight, but my thoughts and heart are there, among people who consistently serve information, culture and, above all, the Hellenism of the diaspora.
As someone who has lived for decades away from their homeland, I know well that for the Greek diaspora, the Greek voice on radio and television is not just a means of information. It is a bridge of memory and communication; a living bond with language, roots, and homeland.
I would like to especially congratulate the director, Mrs. Ioanna Lazarou, for her vision, dedication and tireless efforts, as well as all the contributors who offer their knowledge, talent and soul every day.
I feel particularly honored and happy to be a small part of this beautiful family.
I wish to greek News & Radio FL many more creative years, with even greater impact, success and contribution to Hellenism in Florida and around the world.
Happy Birthday from the bottom of my heart! Enjoy tonight and continue to keep the Greek voice strong, clear and proud!
