Congratulations to the Founder and Ambassador of Hellenism, Mrs. Ioanna Lazarou, and to her worthy collaborators
On the occasion of completing another important milestone in the history of Greek News & Radio FL, I feel the need to express my warmest congratulations to the Founder and Ambassador of Hellenism, Mrs. Ioanna Lazarou, as well as to all the worthy collaborators who support this great project.
The presence and contribution of Ms. Ioanna Lazarou go beyond the limits of a simple journalistic activity. With perseverance, ethics, consistency and deep love for Greece, she managed to create a living bridge of communication between Greece, America and Hellenism everywhere.
Through the newspaper and the radio, the voice of Greece, its culture, its history, its people, its science, its literature and its arts are presented daily. At the same time, a platform is given to people who have something substantial to offer to public life and to Hellenism.
In an era where accurate information is more necessary than ever, journalism requires ethics, social responsibility, impartiality, respect for truth and the public interest.
Knowledge is power.
Truth is responsibility.
And correct information is a contribution to society.
These are precisely the values that Ms. Ioanna Lazarou consistently serves, with the aim of providing citizens with valid, timely, objective and humane information.
But the most important thing is that through this effort, Greece does not remain far from the Greeks of the diaspora.
Her voice travels.
Her story travels.
Its culture travels.
And with them travels the very soul of Hellenism.
For this reason, Greek News & Radio FL is not just a media outlet.
It constitutes a spiritual and cultural link of Hellenism, a voice that unites people, countries and generations.
I wholeheartedly wish you a happy, creative and even more dynamic New Year at Greek News & Radio FL.
I wish Ms. Ioanna Lazarou health, strength and endurance, so that she may continue with the same faith and determination the work she serves.
And to all its collaborators, warm congratulations for their contribution to this great joint effort.
Because when journalism serves the truth and culture serves memory, then Hellenism has no borders.
Sincerely,
Sofia Mitraki
