To those who think that Greece does not matter today, let me say that they could not make a bigger mistake. Today, like old Greece, is of the utmost importance for anyone looking to find himself.

Government Reform with Many Upsets

The Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, proceeded with a reshuffle of the Government. Mr. Chrysochoidis, the Minister of Civil Protection, was left out of the Government, who apparently pays for the absence of a plan, in order to be able to deal with the deadly fires throughout the country. Mr. Takis Theodorikakos takes his place.

According to government sources, this reshuffle is not punitive, but modernizing, so that the country can move forward consistently. Major changes have taken place in other ministries as well, such as the Ministry of Health. Mr. Vassilis Kikilias was transferred from the Ministry of Health to the Ministry of Tourism. Mr. Plevris took his place.

Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis was nominated to replace Mr. Nikos Hardalias as Minister of Civil Protection. Mr. Hardalias takes over as Deputy Minister of National Defense, replacing Mr. Alkiviadis Stefani. According to the latest information, Mr. Evangelos Apostolakis denied the position of Minister of Civil Protection. Mr. Evangelos Apostolakis rejected the position because there was no common political consensus from all parties. As he stated, he had been promised that there was this consensus after the reactions of SYRIZA and KINAL, he realized that this was not the case, so he denied the position to the Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis by phone. Maximou has not announced anything at the moment, nor has he commented on this overthrow.
