New etiological therapies for Alzheimer's disease – Monoclonal antibodies against β-amyloid
The monoclonal antibodies against β-amyloid lecanemab and donanemab are indicated for appropriately selected patients with early Alzheimer's disease (Mild Cognitive Impairment or early dementia) and their administration requires documented diagnosis with biomarkers (abnormal proteins in cerebrospinal fluid or amyloid PET).
Development of an innovative program "HEALTHY MIND - Creation and Pilot Operation of a Network of Memory Gyms".
The goal of the program is to create five "Memory Gyms" in selected areas of Greece (Piraeus, Megara, Thebes, Livadia and Paros), which will serve a total of 190 people.
