However, every serious and responsible "citizen" (in the ancient Greek sense as well as the "individual") is puzzled and shocked by the indifference - akedia that reigns in the world - with exceptions - starting with the political and religious leaders, who should have intervened. , honestly, from the beginning of the tragedy so that human bloodshed stops and there is a generally accepted solution.
Fortunately, there was, at least, the mediation of France and Israel, and, of course, Turkey, but not out of genuine intention, but out of hypocritical, computational expediency, which raises questions as it tries to hide its own illegal and barbaric invasion of the Republic of Cyprus. , and that it continues - for 48 years - to hold its military unit, in violation of dozens of UN resolutions, international law and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and, unfortunately, with the immoral tolerance of powerful third parties.
Also, international organizations with the first and foremost in charge of peace issues, the ΟΗΕ. Why is he actually absent? And why did the Secretary-General of the Organization not take substantial initiatives to justify his position and to increase the prestige of the UN and its own prestige? It is well known that the Member States, especially the Security Council Members, should be consulted, as some may not be able to mediate in any constructive mediation, but they could imitate the late Secretary-General Doug Hammerzold, who in the case of the Congo disagreed. with the two Superpowers and submitted his resignation, something unprecedented in the history of the Organization - which caused emotion and excitement in the General Assembly - but was not accepted, and then went personally to solve the problem, but, unfortunately, was killed in a plane crash ». Special Peace Movements (Observatories of International Organizations etc.) as well as International News Agencies and Media, Literary etc. Associations, Universities and other bodies dealing with international issues? Obviously, the akedia is artificially instrumentalized by speculative circuits and manages to divide, disorient, fanatize, etc. And it is enough for a "leader", an established, docile instrument of dark circuits, to cause a global tragedy. Mankind experienced it horribly with Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Franco, Pinochet and others. What a decline, what an insult! And with all that is happening today, Orwell is justified when he prophesied that in our time war will be considered peace! One can see this from the way this terrible tragedy, human slaughter, is presented, projected by the international media, etc. It even became the subject of cartoons! Horror! Obviously, the "Lords of the Ring" are not moved by human tragedies. People for them have lost their value in the face of profits! And the axiom in International Relations is valid that they keep it a system of fierce competition can not survive without opponents, enemies, when it challenges them, invents them, creates them.
The tragic results of the international atrocity were experienced by humanity in the past, especially in WWII when, among other things, the Nazis exterminated millions of Jews, but other nationalities did not react because it did not concern them, but when it was their turn, they did not exist. others, other than the Nazis, to defend them. And now, in the Ukrainian tragedy, we see the revival of fascist formations that are a terribly dangerous omen, and if the genuine democratic societies do not mobilize for their timely and effective confrontation, then, surely, the WWII and Armageddon will have begun.
