In ancient Rome they had arenas.
The leaders and the people were affected by the brakes.
Then men and lions fought,
slaves gambled their lives away.
Everyone loved this barbaric spectacle,
they didn't know of any other pre-eminent sight.
Today the whole of humanity has become an arena.
But with all sorts of homicidal weapons without brakes.
Killing thousands and millions,
for Judas' Thirty pieces of silver.
And religious and political leaders are not even moved,
and strangely-inconceivable- they are legitimized.
We can talk about a civilized and democratic society,
when subhuman-fascists hold the reins of the people?
They even built rockets to go from one end of the world to the other.
Which of the warmongering underworld's paranoia!
And they don't shed a single tear for the human victims.
They have erased such crimes from their minds.
New barbarian dynasties emerge
and virtues and values are imbibed.
They sell the people and their ideals,
in exchange for profits from their murderous weapons.
Devoted and delusional,
they relive Babel with inhuman, terrible beliefs.
