Oh, my sweet Virgin Mary,
My dear mother,
how deeply they hurt you
those who now seek redemption, joy,
on the knees they rush, the hand timidly stretches out,
help them find…
Those who crucified, Your only Son,
those who healed Him, scourged Him with violence,
His tear they laughed, half mocked,
They made him, They put on him a crown of thorns for a crown..
Crown of thorns, hard, soaked in blood..
How could you bear to see Him crucified!
Your tear hot, fire that burned the earth
and a mother's cry, tore the gray sky...
"It's done" as you heard, the pain weighs on you...
The wolves were silent, they slept in the dens,
from the terror, the uproar, that Heaven seizes,
blackens, lightnings fall, eyes lower,
only your cry is heard and the canyons open..
How did you bear this pain, my sweet Virgin,
how could you bear to forgive, everyone who crucified Him,
that no one understood divine love.
Your tear, my sweet Virgin Mary, watered the soil,
there like a seed.
Thousands of Lilacs grew,
they give thanks to our Mother Despina,
who has shown us miracles, has forgiven us
and God's Resurrection, on his knees, he awaits without a word in awe.
Oh, my Virgin Mary, sweet and Holy Virgin,
to You I always come and beseech You,
in all my heavy pain, You comfort me,
like cool water, you take away all your thirst...
And the cross that he drew to have on my shoulders,
you hold him for me and my Calvary becomes light,
for you are my mother, my sweet, only consolation.
Hail, Nymph Nuptise!
Holy Mother, save us sinners,
watch over our children, and like a merciful Mother,
give us your wish, the blessing to have
Christ let us follow the great Resurrection
in awe to accept…
Oh Holy Mary save U.S!
