A joint European operation to return Georgian and Pakistani nationals to their countries of origin took place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, with a special charter flight from Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".

Cyprus and Italy also participated in the operation to return foreigners, which was organized by Greece, through the Greek Police, with the financial support and coordination of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency FRONTEX.

In particular, a total of -10- Georgian nationals and -40- Pakistani nationals were returned from our country, while police escorts, a doctor, representatives of the Ombudsman, a representative of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum, as well as interpreters and police escorts from FRONTEX, participated throughout the operation.
