To those who think that Greece does not matter today, let me say that they could not make a bigger mistake. Today, like old Greece, is of the utmost importance for anyone looking to find himself.

Christos Rammos made some very interesting revelations during his testimony to the Commission of Inquiry Parliament on the subject of wiretapping.

In particular, the president of AADE, according to information, reportedly revealed (while also reading the relevant minutes) that the destruction of the records of the surveillance of Androulakis took place on the day that the president of PASOK denounced his surveillance, and in fact on the order of the then commander of the EYP, Panagiotis Kontoleon.

In addition, according to the same information, he noted that the initial response of the head of the EYP, Themistocles Demiris, to the request for access to the file was that he did not know if it existed, he only knew of a document from Kontoleontos and Vlachos to the provider for number certification.

He also added that in a new check after two or three days, they were given a written statement by EYP Demiris that the process of removing the confidentiality was legally initiated. Then the head of the EYP invoked confidentiality and the duty of confidentiality to not give any further answers.

Mr. Rammos characterized this specific attitude as "evasion" and "refusal of cooperation". In addition, he pointed out that the EYP cannot invoke confidentiality in the Authority which has the auditing authority over it by the Constitution.

The president of ADAE also reportedly mentioned that the prosecutor Vlachou, responsible for the EYP, said that her judgment is uncontrolled and that she cannot show evidence.

Finally, he is reported, according to information, to note that in general there was a refusal of cooperation from the competent prosecutor and the EYP with evasions, noting also that nowhere was there a justification for monitoring Androulakis. "Opacity is not allowed in a rule of law" the president of the ADAE is reported to have stressed, noting that the Constitution does not allow for the existence of uncontrolled islets.
